Blogs, Pinwheels and Procrastination…

Smells so fresh.

I decided to start a serious “grown-up blog” because I have a lot to say and a lot going on in my life. This new blog theme is a theme that one of my favorite designers, David Airey, designed and posted on his site for anyone to use. It’s definitely fitting my design needs lately. When I was a student at the Creative Circus, I remember always being told that my style was too dark, and that I needed to brighten it up a bit. It’s funny to see that after 3 years, I have taken that advice. My websites used to look like this: v2, v3, v4, v5, v6, and v7.

Shameful! Or is it? It’s good to recognize where we came from in order to become what we are.

So I’m finally growing up in my freelance career, and decided that it would be a good idea to start [finally] posting my journey. Too often when we keep things bottled up inside and festering in our head, we can start to feel isolated, misunderstood, and somewhat crazy. The best remedy is to write it out. I used to think that I had to write a book, or a long epic entry of a website, but I learned from Zen Habits that it starts with one step.

One step.

Hello staircase.
