Explaining Interactive Design

on Howcast

Interactive design, which is deeply rooted in graphic design,   is geared towards interactive devices such as computers and mobile screens. It incorporates the basics of graphic design (typography, grid, color theory) and human computer interaction (how users interact with electronic devices) – creating seemless experiences that define how users directly respond to interactive information. Such practices are the foundation of User Intercace (UI) design, which you will find at the core of any design project that you may encounter in the field of web and mobile application design. Without knowing how to design for the user, you are creating an unusable design.
